Vahid Mirjalili

Welcome to my website!

My name is Vahid Mirjalili, I am a machine learning and deep learning researcher at 3M Health Information Systems (HIS). I obtained my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University. In 2014, I obtained my first PhD in mechanical engineering working on novel methods for large-scale, computational simulations of bio-molecular structures.

During my PhD studies, I worked at iPRoBe lab, where I developped machine learning algorithms for different applications in the domain of computer vision and face biometrics. Furthermore, I worked at Feig Lab, where I earned an oportunity to develop algorithms for protein structure refinement, and actively participated in CASP (a worldwide competition for protein structure prediction).
